We welcome you all to our daily sessions at GDC, to visit our booth or to book a private demonstration. We promise you plenty of pleasant surprises this year!
At the upcoming GDC 2010 in San Francisco we are really proud to be able to present a brand NEW version of BEAST – the world leading global illumination middleware. For a sneak peak, check out this New Beast PDF. As usual you can come and visit us in the Nordic Games booth, We will hold three sponsored sessions called Lighting Your Game the Beast Way and this year we also have the possibility to give private demonstrations at our office in San Francisco all week.

Illuminate Labs will be a part of the Nordic Games booth where you can get a demonstration of the new Beast and an introduction to all our new cool stuff, as well as hang out with our developers.

Lighting Your Game the Beast Way
Come listen to our daily sessions (visual arts track) and find out why more and more game studios choose Beast.
Session description: In this presentation we will cover precomputed game lighting in general and how Illuminate Labs middleware can help you get it into your game tools.
We will look at different ways to handle the challenges involved with lighting video games and why you want to prebake parts of your lighting. We will also present the new Beast and how its tools can give you a smooth integration experience, the highest quality lighting, good artist control and fast turnaround times. Beast has since its launch 2 years ago been licensed by more than 40 major game titles.

We will give demonstrations at our office in downtown San Francisco all week during GDC, March 8-13th.
